Photo A Day ~ 6 Apr
This is the stop sign at the intersection very close to my yard... not sure why, but I just loved this view with the trees blooming in the background! I was sitting on the ground, leaning WAY back to get just the angle I wanted. :) These gray, overcast days are KILLING my photography!!!

Love all your shots, Dorothy! funny how that stop sign is shaped like a yield sign here. Does that ever throw you off?? I think I would be totally confused... LOL!
It REALLY confuses me when I'm off base because the "real" Japanese ones don't say stop at the bottom!!
Like the selective coloring on this one and you're right about the trees, makes a lovely background. Thanks for adding some culture to our day. Sometimes I miss living overseas.
Very neat shot. Love the way the red stands out. The trees make such an interesting background.
Oh, and I love the pic of your son's class ring. So simple and so classy.
Great shot of the stop sign! It was definitely an adventure driving over there, couldn't read anything so it was follow the landmarks. The entrance to the street I lived on had a Statue of Liberty factory beside it. Huge statues of Lady Liberty being cast in Japan, never did find out why.
I was suprised to see English on the stop sign in Japan. I love the pink blossoms on your previous post. I bet the rows of trees are beautiful!
No that's something you don't see everyday here in the states. cool stop sign. Try to get that one mailed back and put up on one of the streets here ;) I love the angle and the colors - great job!
